A Triangle
Materials
• a short length of metal pipe or a horseshoe
• a string • a knife, a fork, or a spoon for a mallet
A triangle, like a gong, is held by a string. Use a piece of string three times as long as the pipe. Run (he siring through the pipe and tie the ends ol the string together.
Hold it as shown in the picture. Strike it with a knife, a fork, or a spoon.
If you use a horseshoe instead of a pipe for the triangle, tie only one end of the string to the curve of the horseshoe. You can then strike the horseshoe as it hangs from the string.
