Tin Can Stilts
Materials
2 cans of the same size
hammer and nail
scissors
2 pieces of string, each about as tall as you are.
Punch a nail hole on each side of the unopened ends of the cans. See Picture.
Thread a string through the holes in each can. Tie knots so the string won’t pull through. The knotted ends should be inside the cans. Stand on top of the cans. Pull the strings up.
Hold the strings tight and walk.
You can make tin-can stilts with taller cans, and then still taller cans.
