<p><strong>Boats From Walnut Shells</strong><br />
Materials<br />
an unbroken half of a walnut shell<br />
clay<br />
a piece of paper<br />
blunt scissors<br />
a pencil<br />
toothpicks</p>
<p>Carefully cut a walnut shell in half.<br />
Put a small wad of clay inside of it.<br />
Draw a sail about the size of a postage stamp and cut it out. Put a toothpick mast in and out through the sail. See Picture. Stick the bottom end of the mast in the clay.<br />
Your boat is ready to sail. You can make several boats and have races.</p>
